CAYETUÉ LAGOON
VICENTE PÉREZ ROSALES NATIONAL PARK FROM HOTEL AWA PUERTO VARAS
In the village of Cayetué, we venture through an impressive native forest, largely unexplored, heading north with the goal of reaching the pristine Cayetué Lagoon. This lagoon marks a midpoint between the meltwater tributaries that originate in the Cochamó Valley and flow into Todos los Santos Lake. There, we can enjoy a wonderful view of Puntiagudo Volcano and observe an old livestock corral dating back to the colonial era.
